Alpha Plus Welcomes Senator Newhouse

Waurika Middle School teachers evaluate ELA and math benchmarks in a recent Data Team Meeting with Alpha Plus Facilitator LeAnn Johnson. ALPHA PLUS HEROES: Vanoss Public Schools

Our hero today is Darla Ewing of Vanoss Public Schools in Pontotoc County. Ms. Ewing uses Alpha Plus Math and ELA curriculum with her third-grade students. So far, they have grown at least 20% on OAS Objectives taught in the fall semester. Great work, Darla!

ALPHA PLUS HEROES: Pershing Elementary

Today, we honor Jacqueline Jackson, a second-grade teacher at Pershing Elementary in Muskogee. Ms. Jackson uses common formative quizzes to assess student mastery of OAS objectives in reading and math. To ensure her students are learning the academic standards of the state of Oklahoma, Ms. Jackson monitors their progress as part of preparing each child for third grade.
